The interior for TGA holding offices was created inside a former industrial building in the north of the Czech Republic. Instead of covering the original structure with a standard office fit-out, we worked with what was already there — exposed concrete structures, generous ceiling heights, visible technologies and the raw atmosphere of the existing building. We did not want to turn the space into sterile corporate offices. The goal was to create a representative company headquarters that works equally well for daily operations, client meetings and regular office life.
The project included a complete office reconstruction with a new layout, reception area, meeting rooms, employee facilities and an outdoor terrace. The interior combines open workspace planning, industrial materials and custom built-in furniture. The result is a contemporary office interior that keeps the original character of the building while functioning comfortably for a modern company.
The entrance area is open across several floors and connected by a dominant black steel staircase. The reception is not hidden behind doors as a separate room, but works as a natural part of the main office space. From the meeting area, the view continues across the offices all the way to the outdoor terrace. Harder materials such as concrete, black steel and industrial lighting are balanced with wood and large-format stone-effect surfaces so the space does not feel cold. The reception area functions both as a representative entrance for clients and as part of the company’s everyday operation.
The offices work as an open workspace without unnecessarily closed rooms. Individual zones are divided only by lightweight partitions or material changes, which keeps the original scale and openness of the industrial building intact. Exposed ceilings, concrete floors and visible technical elements are combined with acoustic materials and custom-built furniture to ensure the offices work not only visually, but also for everyday use. The project also includes meeting rooms, employee facilities and an outdoor terrace connected to the main office floor.
